From Vending Market Watch
All government buildings in Baltimore County, MD can now only offer “healthy” choices as mandated by an executive order, according to wbaltv. Baltimore County is the seventh jurisdiction to convert their vending machines to a “healthy” regimen, but the first to make them 100 percent healthy. The idea, explained some county employees, was to discourage poor eating choices and jump start parents to eat healthy in order to be an example for their kids. Some of the “healthy” items now offered are baked chips and granola bars.
