Letter urges Congress to pass H.R. 527
2/3/15
NAMA has joined with other associations, trade groups and non-profit organizations in signing a letter to Congress supporting H.R. 527, the Small Business Regulatory Flexibility Improvements Act of 2015.
The letter urges Congress to pass H.R. 527 to reform the regulatory process to ensure that all federal agencies appropriately consider the impact of their rules on small businesses across America. As a result, federal agencies would issue smarter regulations that minimize inefficiencies and unnecessary burdens while still protecting public health, worker safety and the environment. This legislation directly protects the industry with future regulations similar to the recently released calorie disclosure and Smart Snacks in School rules.
Congress is expected to vote on this important legislation next week. We need YOUR help today!
We are urging all NAMA members to click here http://namavoice.channeldemocracy.com/connect/write?alert=1662 to send a prepared message to your Members of Congress, asking them to pass H.R. 527 to provide much needed relief for small business people across the country. All you have to do is input your name and address and press send!
Thank you for your support of NAMA and industry advocacy efforts.
Sincerely,
Eric Dell
NAMA SVP of Government Affairs
